
Peace Country is a set of five piano pieces inspired by a region of the same name in northwest Alberta and northeast British Columbia. I don't live there anymore, but it's where I grew up. The recordings were inexpertly executed by me, except for the excerpt of Snowstorm, which is too difficult for me.

This is a set of six pieces: 1) Shadows stretch across coloured leaves; 2) Lights on the water; 3) A busy street; 4) A quieter street; 5) Rain on the window; 6) A thought gives way to a dream. The total duration is about 15 minutes.
